Beauty Mark & a new Challenge for today

Check out this link previewing a new documentary- Beauty Mark. The film depicts one woman’s struggle with excessive exercise. It also examines America’s preoccupation with physical appearance especially weight and body size. Use this film and its critical examination as a way of empowering yourself and challenging your beliefs about appearance and thinness ideals.
Culture so often teaches us that being a certain weight or size means improved success in work, finances and social situations. Challenge this idea! You can have the life you want now at your current size. Wear something you feel good in and do something your body enjoys today.
Fight back! By challenging your beliefs you can shift your current perceptions and appreciate the body you have and all it does for you each day!

Are you recovered from an eating disorder? Are you in recovery from an eating disorder?
I am writing a proposal and would love your answers to these questions:
* What factors contributed to your recovery? (Social support, therapy, etc) Please be as detailed as possible.
* If you received professional help (psychotherapy, psychiatric help, nutritional counseling) how did it help you in the recovery process? What factors were important?
* What does recovery look like for you? (Do you worry about food, weight? Do you still feel uncomfortable eating certain foods, or is eating stress free?)
Please provide me with whatever information you feel comfortable sharing in as much detail as possible for you. There is still little known about the recovery process and your feedback would greatly help me in my current work. I am looking for basic themes to responses to identify overall factors that people find helpful in recovery. Your information will be confidential. No names will be included in my work.
